Christmas is often described as a season of Joy, celebration, and giving.  But we also recognize that for many individuals and families, this season can bring hardship, uncertainty, and the painful reality of not having enough. At Project Nehemiah Hawaii, we believe that no one should feel forgotten, overlooked, or less valued because of their circumstances. We understand that life can take unexpected turns. Some are facing homelessness, financial hardship, unemployment, or circumstances beyond their control. Others are doing everything they can just to make it through another day. We want you to know that your circumstances do not determine your worth. Your struggles do not define your future. And needing assistance does not make you any less deserving of dignity, compassion, and respect. 

Through our Christmas Hope Assistance 2026, Project Nehemiah Hawaii is reaching into our communities to share more than gifts. We want to remind individuals and families that there are people who genuinely care, who see their struggles, and who believe that every life matters. We may not be able to change every circumstance, but we can make a difference in someone's Christmas. And sometimes, the greatest gift is simply knowing that you have not been forgotten.
