Project Nehemiah Hawaiʻi Training Institute equips churches, businesses, schools, nonprofits, community organizations, healthcare professionals, and public agencies with practical, trauma-informed, and Christ-centered education to recognize vulnerabilities, respond appropriately, and strengthen communities throughout Hawaiʻi.

Our instructors combine real-world outreach experience with practical training that prepares participants to identify indicators, respond safely, understand referral pathways, and work collaboratively with community partners.

Purpose

Project Nehemiah Hawaiʻi exists to educate, equip, and strengthen communities through professional and faith-based training while advancing our charitable mission.

Faith-Based Training

Faith-Based Training is provided free of charge to churches and Christian ministries whenever scheduling and organizational resources allow.

Donations or love offerings are appreciated but are never required.

Professional Training

Professional organizations requesting training are assessed a training fee based on the length, complexity, preparation, travel, and number of participants.

Fees directly support Project Nehemiah Hawaiʻi’s charitable mission and help provide free education to churches and underserved communities.

Travel

Organizations requesting training outside of Oʻahu may be responsible for applicable travel expenses, including airfare, lodging, ground transportation, and other approved costs.

Registration

Advance registration may be required. Attendance may be limited depending on venue capacity.

Cancellation

Organizations are asked to provide reasonable notice if training must be cancelled or rescheduled.
